Hero: Tiger Hill road at dawn

Our story

Hum Jaayega started with two words nobody else would say

“Hum Jaayega” means “I will go.” The legend of Dal Bahadur Gurung, the driver who took the wheel on the Tiger Hill road when no one else dared, is why the app carries his words.

Shared jeep stand in Darjeeling

Digitising the hill stand, not replacing it

The shared-jeep stand is how the hills have always moved: Sumos and Boleros, ten seats, leaving when full. What it never had was a confirmed seat, a fixed fare on your phone, or a way to plan tomorrow. Hum Jaayega adds exactly that, on the same jeeps, with the same drivers, at the same corridor fares the unions set.

  • Built with local taxi syndicates, not around them
  • Long-distance corridors only, no short city rides
  • Made for roads with no signal and no street addresses

Mission

To digitise traditional transport across Indian hill corridors for locals and tourists: a safe, organised, book-any-time platform that eases everyday travel, reduces traffic jams and drives mountain mobility forward.

Vision

To be the most trusted name in travel, from the hills of Darjeeling to all of India.

What we value

  • Courage

We go where others will not, and we build for the roads that break other apps.

  • Safety

Licensed drivers, trip codes, SOS. Safety is a feature, not a page.

  • Warmth and humour

A local elder you trust, not a call centre. Plain words, a smile at the door.

  • Reliability

A confirmed seat is a promise. We keep it.

  • Roots

Hill heritage in the name, the mascot and the fares.
