Delete your Hum Jaayega account

You can delete your account from the app in a few taps. If you cannot open the app, email us.

Delete from the app

Works in both the passenger and the driver app.

    Open Profile

    Tap the Profile tab, then Settings.

    Tap Delete account

    Read what will be removed and confirm with the one-time code we send to your phone.

  3. 3

    Done

    Your account is closed immediately. Personal data is removed within XXXX days, except records we must keep by law.

Cannot open the app?

Email support@XXXX from any address with the phone number on the account and the words “Delete my account”. We will confirm by SMS to that number before deleting. Drivers with an unpaid balance should include payout details for the final settlement.

What happens to my data

What is deleted?

Your profile, phone number, saved contacts, wallet and payment methods, ratings and preferences.

What is kept?

Trip and payment records required by Indian tax and transport law, kept for XXXX years without your name attached where possible.

Can I come back?

Yes, by signing up again. Your old trips and rating are not restored.

I have an upcoming booking.

Cancel it first. Deleting an account with a confirmed seat counts as a no-show for the driver.
