Hero: driver and passenger shaking hands

We want everyone in the jeep to feel the same way about safety

Safety on a hill road is a pact between the passenger, the driver and us. Here is what each of us promises.

Community guidelines

Three rules for everyone who uses Hum Jaayega.

  • Respect for everyone

Drivers, passengers, the vehicle and each other’s space. No exceptions on a long road.

  • One person, one account

Accounts are personal. You are responsible for what happens under your name.

  • No discrimination

Zero tolerance for discrimination by language, religion, gender, caste or where someone is from.

High safety standards inside the app

Every feature below is in both apps today.

  • Licensed drivers only

Every driver uploads licence, permit, registration and insurance before the first trip. Documents are checked by Adiyata staff.

  • The freedom to choose

Passengers see driver rating, vehicle and plate before booking. Drivers see passenger rating and pickup point before accepting.

  • Trip code at pickup

A 4-letter code on both phones confirms the right passenger is boarding the right jeep.

  • SOS to 112

Hold the SOS button to call 112, send your location to trusted contacts and alert Hum Jaayega operations.

  • Trusted contacts

Up to 3 people are notified when a ride starts and ends. Share the live trip on WhatsApp or SMS any time.

  • Disruption alerts

Bandhs, landslides and road closures are broadcast in the app so nobody leaves for a road that is shut.

Get every person home safely and with a smile, even on the roads no one else will take.

Frequently asked questions

How do you check drivers?

Every driver submits licence, commercial permit, vehicle registration and insurance in the app. An Adiyata team member approves the documents before the driver can publish a trip.

What happens when I press SOS?

The app calls 112, sends your live location and trip details to your trusted contacts, and alerts Hum Jaayega operations.

Is my personal data safe?

Your phone number is never shown to the other party; calls and chat go through the app. Pickup coordinates are blurred to about 60 m for drivers who have not been matched with you.

What do you do after an incident?

Report it from the trip screen or the help centre. We contact both parties, and where a union driver is involved we follow up with the syndicate.

Can women travel alone?

Yes. Verified drivers, trip codes, live sharing and trusted contacts are designed for exactly that. Tell us if anything falls short.
